Financial Times 300
Alesco Advisors was named to the 2018 Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). This is the second consecutive year that Alesco has appeared on the list.
The FT 300 includes financial advisory firms from 38 states and Washington, D.C. The average FT 300 firm has over 22 years of experience in the business and manages $4 billion in assets.
The Financial Times invites qualifying RIA companies to complete a lengthy application – this year, more than 2,000 firms were invited to participate.
The Financial Times uses a formula to grade advisers based on six broad factors, calculating a numeric score for each company. Areas of consideration include the assets under management, asset growth, company’s age, industry certifications of key employees, SEC compliance record and online accessibility. The Financial Times notes that the list is presented “as an elite group (and) not a competitive ranking of one to 300.”Read the full article: https://on.ft.com/2Kfmhdk
Flower City Habitat for Humanity Accounting and Finance Leaders Build Day
On July 13, Tim Tindall, a principal in Alesco’s Rochester office, volunteered with other area accounting and finance leaders to help build a house in Rochester as part of the Flower City Habitat for Humanity Leaders Build program. For more information on this organization, please visit www.rochesterhabitat.org
This program brings partners together to build homeownership, communities, and hope. Tim worked alongside other area leaders to help make the residence a reality for a local homeowner.
In addition, Justin Sansone, another member of our sales and service team at Alesco Advisors, chaired the Leaders Build Committee.
Congratulations to Alesco Advisors performance analyst Jenna C. Taylor (Haynes) on her marriage to Tom Haynes. Jenna and Tom celebrated their marriage on Sunday, September 2nd in Pittsburgh, PA.
Alesco Family Picnic
Our families gathered on July 11 at King’s Bend Park in Pittsford for our annual family picnic. Food, games, and laughter marked an afternoon of fun. From the newest members of the Alesco team to familiar faces from over the years, it was a time to celebrate and share as employees enjoyed a sunny, summertime day in Rochester! In this photo, Ben Kircher, Alesco’s Operations Analyst and Ben Sansone (dad is Justin, a principal on the sales and service team) hang out together.
